Bence Illés
I graduated as an animal breeding engineer at Szent István University in Hungary, but straight afterwards I started working in the field of water disinfection and graduated from the University of St. Petersburg, Russia.
Water disinfection and animal health have been the main interests of my career. I’ve worked in the field of water disinfection technologies, including several years at Eisberg, a factory that provides and rinses salads to corporations like McDonald’s and Spar.
Preserving food in the food industry was also a key area of mine, where I’ve learnt a lot and realised how much we can do with the right technology to extend shelf life in a healthy way, reducing waste for our society yet making sure that human health comes first!
I got involved in the legionella eradication at the University of Medicine in Pécs, Hungary, where the importance of this project got my attention and started to work with Géza on the GB Water technology development.
We are full of ideas, to use technology to change healthcare and agriculture for a healthier, sustainable future!
