The drinking water quality was a problem for Gyál, a Hungarian city of 25.000 people. The municipality decided to find a solution that included the modernisation of the waterworks as well as raising the quality of their drinking water with non-toxic methods.

GB Water Technology was deployed in Gyál’s waterworks, a Hungarian city of 25,000 population, disinfecting 5,000 m³ water per day.
The system has been deployed in 2023 and has been running without fault ever since.
Beside the technical upgrade of the Gyál waterworks, GB Water’s disinfectant technology was deployed in addition to purify drinking water for the city without adding additional chemicals to the system, only using the disinfectant liquid, IONSIX, that our technology produces on-site.
The system is built in a way that it monitors iron levels of the incoming water flow and keeps iron levels at the necessary threshold that the human body needs. The additional iron is taken away which also prevents iron deposition in the pipe network.
